If you are looking for a peaceful, family friendly place then I would highly recommend checking out Cedar Lake. The lot prices are more than fair for what you get in terms of quality. A lot of the lots come with water and electric, plus, some of them are already cleared too.
I've been going down to Cedar Lake for over 4 years now and they really do everything they can to make this community a safe, fun place to live or visit all year long! And not to mention, the fishing is awesome too!
I can't say enough about how great it is to head down to Cedar Lake a few times a year! The staff is friendly, the community is super peaceful, and it definitely is a "step up" from some of the other lake communities in the area.
Friends of mine live on the lake. Great location right out of town, gated private community quiet, nice beaches, etc.
